And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1co.13.2.KJV

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.7.7.KJV
Today’s Devotional Verse
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1co.12.4-11.KJV

12 Days Of Thanksgiving Devotional. Day 8:
As we begin today, may we allow the peace that comes from Christ to rule in our hearts. May we live in peace. May we be thankful! While we are thankful for so many gifts the Lord has blessed our lives with, today we focus on the GIFTS from the Holy Spirit. On day five we thanked God for the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Today, we will read of and thank Him for gifts from the Holy Spirit.
These spiritual gifts are given so we can help each other. Thank God He is concerned with helping us! Such giftings include wise advice, special knowledge, great faith, healing, ability to perform miracles, prophecy, discernment, speaking in unknown languages, and interpretation. When reading through the gifts of the Spirit you know the Lord has blessed you with one or several, give thanks and praises to the Lord! If reading the gifts left you feeling ungifted, give thanks! Because all you or I have to do is ask, and we shall receive the gifts of the Spirit the Lord has waiting for us!
But first, take a moment to meditate on 1 Corinthians 13:2. We can have all the unique gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, if we have not love, Scripture according to Paul says, we are nothing. If love abounds in our hearts from a place we know could only be given by the Lord, thank God! If we sense love is lacking and our hearts should grow more tender, thank God! His Holy Spirit is bringing a conviction for correction, better positioning you and I to allow His love and spiritual gifts to freely flow through us for the love of others. In all things give thanks and praises. How might you be able to express thanks and love, to both God and others, today? Commit thoughts that may come to mind, to action, and bless someone abundantly today.
