The Lord provides all we need, and we thank Him! Those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing! There will be not one thing we need, we do not already have. Even if we perceive a need, the Word says to let God know we have a need and to thank Him for all He has done. Let Him know our need (which He already knows by the way, see Matthew 6:8) and give thanks, BEFORE the need is even met? Yes! Thank Him! Because if He already knew the need, it is surely already on its way, we just had to arrive at the point where we realized we needed it. And if we do not truly need a thing, the Lord will help us to arrive to that conclusion in His time. He is meeting our need, to not need. Amazing!

All our needs are met from the glorious riches found in Jesus Christ. His riches, or valuable resources and wealth, come from Christ being wonderful, marvelous, magnificent, superb, sublime, spectacular, lovely, fine, and delightful! What is there to not be thankful for?! Take a moment to let these words sink deep down into your soul. Our needs come from Jesus’ magnificent, spectacular and lovely wealth. Sinking, sinking… Allow a thankful song of praise and worship to rise up from within. Sing it! Shout it! It’s ok if it’s off key, the Lord created your note and He longs to hear it.

Today, be encouraged to capture in word, imagery, or song, all the Lord has provided to you. How has He met your need? Past and present? By faith, what are you believing the Lord WILL provide in the future, for His glory, the sake of others, and the building of your faith? Give thanks to the Lord for EVERYTHING. Share with your family and encourage them to think about all God has provided for them as well. Perhaps have a family discussion. Allow this to be something you are able to rejoice in and be glad about in just a few days, when we all celebrate Thanksgiving.

Thank God we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable! When all may be shaken around us, we can have confidence and give thanks to the Lord for establishing immovable faith and Kingdom character within! Accompanying the Lord’s unshakable Kingdom, is an unshakable calling.

It is a calling we can confidently give thanks to the Lord for, today. This calling orients our lives, establishes our steps, and helps us from wandering too far from the path the Lord makes known to us. Christ’s calling, when embraced, allows the Lord to give us the power to do and accomplish all the good things we receive by faith, in Christ. Thank God for such a wonderful gift!

Today, take a while to sit in silence and allow the Lord to speak to your heart on matters of your calling. Do you have a clear concept of what the Lord plans to do through your life, while enabling you to live holy? Are you currently walking confidently in the calling Christ has set before you, pressing on towards the mark? Do you feel you have neither, but there is a stir and desire within to obtain the hope of His high calling? Express thanks to the Lord, wherever you may find yourself, and trust He will guide your next step on the path of the call He has for your life.
