Going through the Bible a chapter a day.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%201&version=KJV

Let’s begin by understand how the bible is broken down into.

We begin with the first book of the Bible Genesis. Genesis is from the Greek word geneseos, meaning “origin, source, generation, or beginning.”

Chapter 1 in my bible is titled, “The Original Creation”.

It’s where it all began and the first chapter is sarts with the first 6 days of creation. Everything God made he said, “It was good”.

I will try to help you understand what was created each day. Before I do, the first two verses is before creation. In the beginning was God and he created the Heaven and the earth.

Day 1: Light vs. 3-5.

Day 2: Firmament vs. 6-8.

Day 3: Earth, Sea, and Vegetation vs. 9-10.

Vs 11-13 God called forth growth of plants and seeds.

Day 4: Sun, Moon, and Stars vs. 14-19.

Day 5: Birds and Sea Animals vs. 20-23.

Day 6: Land Animals and humans vs. 24-31.

I hope that helps get a clearer understanding of the first six days of creation.

I hope you will join in following along each day as we dive into the Bible a chapter a day.

God bless you and your loved ones.
