- the quality of being faithful or loyal
- the degree to which something matches or copies something else
Prayer
As I pray for my country today, Lord, I lift up our leaders to you—all those who are governing now as well as those you might be preparing to govern in the future. Your fidelity, God, gives us safety and security like a roof over our world. I pray that the leaders of our country would demonstrate that same kind of fidelity—a faithfulness to their positions and to the people they represent—that will bring a sense of security to the people.
