Early Bird Catches The Worm

We all know the saying Early bird catches the worm. I tend to put it a bit more into pracrice then the average person. I have my alarm set two hours before I have to be at work. I tend to arrive anywhere from an hour to 2 hours early or more pending the day. I almost always do devotional and share it first along with scripture and music. Sometimes I struggle waking so I read a book to get my mind to focus in the morning. I am a huge fan of capturing the beauty that surrounds me. Sunrise/Sunset to flowers to people or places pending what the day holds. I love the quite and stillness of the morning before the sun rises and everything slowly begins to wake or go to sleep pending the night animals.

Sunrise the slow climb of the sun rising in the east.
Sunset as the sun descends to the west.
A beautiful flower captured in blinding sun with my eyes closed praying to capture it.

I wanted it as a reminder of the beauty of creation that surrounds me from nature to animals to people. All were created by God’s hands and He said it was good.

If we are not careful we will regret not stopping to enjoy quite moments of life. I find that if you can get some quite moments you have a more joyous out look. First thing in the morning then again at the end of the day is time to just be still. To find the beauty that surrounds you, go for walks listening to music.

I’m avid reader from Victorian era to fantasy. Two all time favorite authors are Lori Wick I love all her books to S. L. Morgan The Guardian Series. I am also a history fan as well.

My ultimate favorite book too read is the Bible. You have your history there along with the present. It shows you what was and is to come. Some great books I enjoy from the Bible is Luke, Ruth, Psalms, and Proverbs. I truly enjoy all of the books hard to just simply limit to just a collection by the end I would name all of the books.

Civil War is a huge part of history I enjoy reading. There is more to the story than simply the battles that took place. The people themselves and what they did before the war and their work after. A time where brothers were fighting brothers and it wasn’t all 100% related to slavery. Slavery wasn’t just part of the south but the north as well.

So many interesting parts of American history. From leaving so we can establish the freedoms we wanted based on our Faith and establishing the Constitution. We have amazing history that we have worked hard to get where we are today. To remove it and destory it is a terrible shame. The sacrifices of those men and woman and families have been tossed to the side like it never mattered to begin with. If it never did we wouldn’t have the freedoms we have today.

The sky is another peaceful moment I love to look at and capture as seen below.

The night sky at church part 1.
The night sky at church part 2 same night as the one above. See how the colors change each time you look up.
The moon has come out surrounded by clouds.

I encourage you to be the early bird snd see what you find. To be in the moment and be still and see what is waiting for you each day. God bless you and your loved ones. John 3:16-17 King James Version.
