Conversation with a friend reminded me I needed to share this.
Part of the lyrics:
Then another man stood before you
And said remember the time
A missionary came to your church
His pictures made you cry
You didn’t have much money
But you gave it anyway
Jesus took the gift you gave
And that’s why I’m here today
Why is it that the poorest among us give more than the richest among us?
If you see someone in need help them. Even if you are not very rich God can use what you give.
“If your circle doesn’t build you up and support you, then get a new circle.”
Don’t ask how someone is doing just to make them feel worse than they do based on current circumstances. Your circumstances don’t make you better than others. It’s inside your heart that matters.
“Strength comes from being pushed to your limits and surviving.”
No matter what is happening currently God will see you through and give you the strength even when it seems things are getting worst. I promise help will always come in time.
Different lyric to a different song:
Just remember when your standing in the valley of decision
And the adversary says give in
Just hold on, our Lord will show up
And He will take you through the fire again
Nothing can define you but you. Circumstances, race, money, family or friends define you.
“Your mother’s actions don’t define you. And they certainly don’t define us.”
Don’t blame others for someone else’s mistake and don’t blame yourself for their mistake. You didn’t cause them to do what they did. Let go of beating yourself up over what they did and strive above it. I won’t blame you for something out of your control and not everyone will blame you. Ignore the name sayers out there. Find positive and uplifting people in your life and let the others go.
