But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Matthew 6:3 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mat.6.3.KJV
One Pair of Hands.
I have chosen this song to share with you. A song you may not be familiar with. I have picked Elvis as the artist for the vocals.
This song is speaking of God. There is no other creator than He. Everything you see has been created by God and God alone. He spoke and breathed life. He said it was good all that he had created.
First line speaks of the book of Genesis when He created it all by speaking it into being.
The lyrics are here: One pair of hands formed the mountains
One pair of hands formed the sea
One pair of hands made the sun and the moon
Every bird, every flower, every tree
One pair of hands formed the valleys
The ocean, the rivers and the sand Those hands are so strong, so when life goes wrong
Put your faith in the one pair of hands
The second line speaks of when Jesus was here and the miracles He did.
One pair of hands, healed the sick
One pair of hands raised the dead
One pair of hands calmed the ragging storm
And thousands of people were fed
This last line that speaks of I love you and hands nailed to the tree is the whole reason for Jesus being born. It was His love for us so we would not be eternally separated from Him because of ours sins that He went to the cross. He wants none to perish. Yet He has given you free will. You will decided if you will follow Him and believe in Him.
One pair of hands said I love you
And those hands were nailed to a tree Those hands are so strong, so when life goes wrong
Put your faith into one pair of handsThose hands are so strong, so when life goes wrong
Put your faith into one pair of hands
Put your faith into one pair of hands
One pair of hands
So, will you put your Faith in Him. The one who spoke all into being and breathed life. Will you finally surrender your will and your ways? Only you can make that choice of Following and believe in Jesus.
Question to think on: If you were to die to day how certain of it you would go to Heaven? 5o% 75% or 100%.
If you can’t give a 100% answer and the reason as to why being you put your Faith in God because you believe what you have heard to be true then I want you to see below.
The ABCs of becoming a Christian
“B” stands for Believe. A person must believe that Jesus is God’s Son and that God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for sin. Verses about believing include John 3:16; John 14:6; and Romans 5:8.
“C” stands for Confess. A person must confess her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read Romans 10:9-10, 13.
After a person admits to God that she is a sinner, repents and turns from her sin, believes that Jesus is God’s Son sent to die to pay for the sins of the world, and confesses that faith in Jesus, she is a Christian and knows Jesus as her Savior.
Remember: It is not your job to “save” your child – it is God’s! However, as a parent you have the responsibility (and privilege) of guiding your child to faith in Christ. Pray that God will give you the wisdom to teach your child about Him. Then know that you can only do this with His help and thank Him for His guidance. After all, He loves your child even more than you do!
The following is a sample prayer to use as a guide for praying with your child:
Dear God, thank You for choosing to love me! I know I am a sinner. I believe You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins. I believe He rose again and lives today. Today, I repent and turn away from my sin. Thank You for Your wonderful love and for changing my life forever. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Today’s Devotional Verse
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:14-15 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/col.3.14-15.KJV
Oswald Chambers Peace: Life in the Spirit.
Day 28 of 30 day devotional.
The peace of Christ is synonymous with His very nature, and the working of that peace was exhibited in Our Lord’s earthly life. It is the God of peace Who sanctifies wholly. The gift of the peace of Christ on the inside; the garrison of God on the outside, then I have to see that I allow the peace of God to regulate all that I do, that is where my responsibility comes in—“let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.”
One of the things which we need to be cured of by the God of peace is the petulant struggle of doing things for ourselves. Has the God of peace brought you into a calm, or is there a clamor and a struggle still? Are you still hanging on to some obstinate conviction of your own?—still struggling with some particular line of things you want.
Reflection Questions: What does it mean to allow peace to rule my heart? What is the difference between staying calm and living in peace? What is the difference between calmness and peace?
Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.8.28.KJV

Today’s Devotional Verse
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/1pe.5.8-9.KJV

Day 27 of 30 day devotional.
Satan is never represented in the Bible as being guilty of doing wrong things: he is a wrong being. Men are responsible for doing wrong things, and they do wrong things because of the wrong disposition in them. The moral cunning of our nature makes us blame Satan when we know perfectly well we should blame ourselves; the true blame for sins lies in the wrong disposition in us.
In all probability Satan is as much upset as the Holy Ghost is when men fall in external sin, but for a different reason. When men go into external sin and upset their lives, Satan knows perfectly well that they will want another Ruler, a Savior and Deliverer; as long as Satan can keep men in peace and unity and harmony apart from God, he will do so (see Luke 11:21-22).
Reflection Questions: Who do I blame for my sin? What does Satan gain if I lead an upright and moral life? What does he lose if I mess up so badly that I recognize my need for peace apart from my own efforts?
Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/lam.3.22-23.KJV
Today’s Devotional Verse
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:17-18 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/rev.3.17-18.KJV
