Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.8.12.KJV

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:12-13 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.15.12-13.KJV

TELL ME THE STORY OF JESUS
The song “Tell Me the Story of Jesus” perfectly sums up the gospel. Jesus came joyously into this world, he laid down his life, taking on the sin of the world, and He arose victorious three days later, conquering death once and for all. The story of Jesus is a story of love. The holidays are a time when families and friends come together in celebration. We leave behind offences and choose to honor each other in love. But don’t let Christmas be the only time we do it! Jesus commands us to love each other and not just with words, but in action. To lay down our life for another means to love unconditionally.
Each day, ask the Lord to show you how to best love your family and friends. Ask Him to teach you how to be a more loving person; to love like He loves you.

Today’s Devotional Verse
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.3.16-17.KJV
When Christmas Comes 7 Day Devotional. Day 4:
O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL
Jesus came for every single one of us. “O Come All Ye Faithful” is a song that calls out to every heart to come and adore Jesus; to come and worship Him; to give our lives to Him. It doesn’t matter what circumstances you may find yourself in right now, God sees you right where you are. He is a loving Father who isn’t afraid to meet us even in the mess of our lives. There is nothing too great or too hard for him and there is nothing that can separate us from His love. Jesus came into this world, laying down his life, so that we would be reconciled to the Father. God gave everything just so that we could walk in deep intimacy and relationship with Him. He sees your heart – the good and the bad, and He loves you! Don’t let fear or shame stop you from giving Him all of yourself. You will never be disappointed in surrendering to Jesus.
