Day 5 of 31 Days:
Good morning.
The initial pressing question is, “Are we dreaming to begin with?” This isn’t in reference to a nocturnal type of dream but rather desires for our future. It would be a great travesty for us to limit a limitless God and never imagine what’s possible.
Now, how we dream matters. We are to dream according to what’s in God’s heart. We learn His dreams by spending time with Him. We must allow Him to give us the what and the how. And oftentimes, we must accept it in that order. After all, the Lord knows best. He wants us to succeed more than we want to ourselves. The truth of the matter is that before we were a person, we had purpose. A dream from His heart.
Have you given your works to Him lately?
3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jhn.5.24.KJV
Day 4 of 31 Days:
Good morning.
Praise has always been and will always be a welcoming for God to “take a seat” (Psalm 22:3). This is a weapon in our arsenal for His glory to be revealed in our lives. So where there is praise, there is presence.
When it comes to our emotions, they should never restrain our praise. Praise has nothing to do with how we feel, what we see, or the circumstances around us. It has everything to do with who God is. When we can praise Him despite all of this, that’s where we will experience His power.
What are two characteristics of God that you could praise Him for?
3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Hebrews 12:14 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/heb.12.14.KJV

Day 3 of 31:
Good morning.
A boat sinks because external elements impact it and weigh it down. There are many things in life that could sink us by default, but I’m learning that having gratitude keeps me afloat.
I heard of a study about people in the final chapter of life being asked what they regret. A top response was “not reflecting enough.” As cliché as it is, let’s thank God and reflect on what we have, not what we don’t. By doing this, we’ll stay afloat.
In this moment, what are three things you’re grateful for?
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/luk.6.38.KJV
