2 Corinthians 1:3-7 KJV

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

Have you been surrfering or dealt with surrfering in the past? Well, you are not alone.

We all have gone through surrfering pain and heartbreak. Though we suffer we have the God of all comfort, comforting us and because of His comfort to us that we can comfort those around us who are going through the same suffering we went through.

As Christians we are not spared from suffering. No, we are told we would surrfer only we would not be doing so alone for we will have God with us and He alone can provide the comfort we need to get through it.

If you see a person suffering or in need of comfort then offer comfort. You don’t have to try and fix the problem entirely unless that is something God lays on your heart to do. You can simply listen to them, pray for them, encourage them, and hug them. Do little things for God can use them in a mighty way to meet their needs.

God bless you and your loved ones. May He bring you comfort in your days of trials and suffering and pain and see you through it.

Ephesians 4:26-32 KJV

26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

27 Neither give place to the devil.

28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

1 John 2:20 Explained

1 John 2:20 KJV
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

Breaking down the Bible verse to better explain it. I will use a reference from bibleref.com to help explain it.

What does 1 John 2:20 mean?

In contrast with the false teachers John described in 2:18–19, he reassures true believers reading this letter that they have been anointed and possess knowledge of the truth. This anointing referred to the Spirit of God being poured out by Jesus “the Holy One” on those who have come to faith in Christ. This anointing “you received from him abides in you” (1 John 2:27), meaning it was lasting. The New Testament described Jesus as the Anointed One (Acts 4:26–27) who also anointed those who believe in Him.

Jesus was also often called the Holy One (Revelation 3:7). This title was used by Simon Peter (John 6:69; Acts 2:27), Paul (Acts 13:35), angels (Revelation 16:5), and even evil spirits (Mark 1:24; Luke 4:34). The idea that “you all have knowledge” refers to a Christian believer’s true knowledge of Jesus as the Christ. The Bible elsewhere parallels knowledge with salvation (Luke 1:77; 1 Corinthians 1:5).

So, it is good to understand what this verse is saying and it is saying I am Anointed as well as why and how I am anointed.

When you get stuck and do not understand what the verse is saying you can look at references or commentaries to help explain what it is you are reading. We are not going to understand everything we read right off the bat. This is why we are to study God’s Word daily.

I like to pray before I begin to read the Bible and ask for God to point out what he wants me to understand about what I am reading as well as understanding what it is I am reading. I think about it and meditate then go look for answers if I am struggling to understand. You have Pastor’s, Sunday School Teachers and friends to turn to for help in understanding it.

It is okay to ask for help when it comes the Bible there is no shame in not knowing the answer or not getting a clear picture of what you are reading. It is why you can turn to your pastor, teachers, or friends at church and as for help. If that is not an option or makes you uncomfortable then you can look it up online or commentary book on the Bible if you have one.

I was struck by this verse this morning. I even shared it with someone and then I just had to run with it and put it here in my blog. I never know what is going to Inspire me and when it does I go for it.

I hope this helped explain a bit more about the verse and understanding it as well.

God bless you and your loved ones.
