·Pray for the Leaders of the state, that God’s Spirit would guide them to act justly, serve with intergrity and uphold high moral standards.
·Pray for the Churches of the state, that they would be lighthouses of truth, havens of hope and center of love for all people.
·Pray for the Christians of the state, that they would be faithful witness for Christ, humble servants of God and positive influences on society.

Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Forgiveness:

• the act of forgiving someone or something
• the attitude of someone who is willing to forgive other people

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I thank you today for the forgiveness you have extended to me, a sinner redeemed by your love. I ask for your forgiveness over our country; may your restoring love run swiftly through our people and our land. I pray that the people in my country would be convicted of all unrighteousness and turn toward you for forgiveness. May your healing and redemption come quickly to our land.

Mercy:

• a compassion or forbearance shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one’s power
• a blessing that is an act of divine favor or compassion
• compassionate treatment of those in distress

Prayer

Merciful Father, today I pray that you would make the leaders of my country nation men and women of mercy. I pray that those in leadership at every level would taste of your mercy, your grace, and your salvation. May they extend that same mercy to those they lead.  May power be given only to those who will use it in accordance with your righteous mercy.
