Chapter 4 verse 14: God’s law is not some set of unreasonable and onerous requirements that God imposes simply to test His people’s loyalty or fortitude. God’s law is His wisdom, His instructions for how human life should be lived if it is to be lived right. It is God’s fatherly counsel to His children so that they might live happily, fruitfulness, and safely in the land He is giving them.
Deuteronomy 4:24-28
Moses warns Israel not to forget what kind of God the living and true God is: invisible, immortal, transcendent in glory, infinite in power and might.
Verses 29-31: The warning of verses 24-28 is not without hope. Those who look for the true God will find Him.
