Love

Good morning.

I felt it only necessary to end on this focus, considering the scriptures in today’s reading. Like many other key elements of our faith, love is not dictated by emotions. We love no matter what. We love in spite of. When Jesus displayed His love, He broke any preconceived notion that declared love to be based upon conditions. As a matter of fact, a new word was released that day: Agape. This is the love we reflect.

My prayer in all of this is that we love God and love all people (Matthew 22:37- 39). That we let our preferences and pride die as we reflect His love to all. Just as much as Jesus loves us, He loves all the same. Yes, even them. May we love as we are loved.
