Welcome to Sunday where we do a weeks re-viewing of what we read this past week.

Chapter 24: The Building of the Tabernacle: The convenant was made known as well as both the obedience and disobedience, that way the Israelites always knew where they stood with God.

Chapter 25: Moses In The Mount: Moses was there for 40 days and 40 nights. Gifts for the Tabernacle are given voluntarily. The ark of the covenant functioned as God’s throne.

Chapter 26: The Tabernacle of Materials: The curtains and the vail were were carefully constructed. The curtains outlined the tabernacle while the vail provided a boundary for the innermost holy chamber. God is very specific in His description of the other elements of the tabernacle; nearly everything is not only functional but also symbolic and instructive in its form.

Chapter 27: The altar of the burnt offerings stood just outside the entrance to the court. It was in the courtyard that the priests did their work and the people offered their sacrifices.

Chapter 28: The High Priest and the Priests, The garments of the High Priest, The Robe of Ephod, and The Holy Crown takes place in chapter 28. You may ask why is any of it relevant? It is commanded by God and it is His instructs that they are to follow. Every single instruct and order on how things were to be done or made or the way things were to take place was outlined like a blue print by God. If He (God) didn’t want it to be that way He wouldn’t have told them to do so. It is up us to follow those instructions and commands He gives us.

Chapter 29: The Consecration of the Priests: (which are Aaron and his sons) God demands solemnity and ceremony.

Chapter 30: The Altar of Incense: The Priests are instructed to burn incese every monring and every evening at the same time the burnt offerings are made. It is meant to burn throughout the day and the incense is meant to have pleasing aroma unto the Lord. It is made of precious spices and considered holy.

God bless you and your loved ones.
