Day 19 of 31 Days:
Vision
Good morning.
It necessitates God’s intervention, it serves others, and it needs others. These are three leading attributes of vision from the Lord. If we can do it by ourselves and it’s only for ourselves, I don’t believe it’s from Him. Therefore, ultimately, it’s not our purpose. Many of us spend years climbing a ladder only to get to the top and realize we’ve been on the wrong wall. Great news: it’s not too late to climb again.
Another essential element of vision is clear, practical strategy. Fulfillment of this vision won’t occur by happenstance. We must be intentional, determined, patient, focused, resolute, and confident. I found it only appropriate to place this topic immediately following identity and work ethic. You see how it relates? We must know who we are and get our vision and strategy from above as we work with all our hearts to serve people to fulfill our purpose.
What is one practical way that your vision could further serve others?
Habakkuk 2:2-3 King James Version
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
